A rare video of the great Lowell Fulson on you tube, I think it was recorded sometime around 1963,
There's not much recorded material around about Lowell, so this is a great find, Also not many know that it was Lowell's music, that got B.B King's first big hit, it was Lowell Fulson's Three O'Clock Blues which Lowell recorded in 1948. B.B's version was recorded in 1951,
Lowell Fulson also recorded before John Lee Hooker (Fulson started in '46 and had his first hit in '48, Hooker in '47 or '48 and had his first hit in '49, King in '49 and had his first hit in '51). Fulson was a big influence on Buddy Guy.
