About Mike Dugan and the Blues Mission
The Blues Mission, featuring Mike Dugan on guitar and vocals, combines the influences of British Blues with Southern Jam Rock. They have 5 CD releases with lots of original material and good catchy songs and hot,tastey guitar work. They currently tour the East Coast. Mike Dugan has been influenced by Duane Allman, Dickey Betts,Mike Bloomfield, Jerry Garcia,Jimmy page, Eric Clapton,and Peter Green. The band has shared the stage with BB King, Crosby,Stills and Nash,Jonny Lang,Robert Cray,Tinsley Ellis,Rod Piazza,Charlie Musselwhite,and Kenny Neal. Mike Dugan is backed by "Broccoli" Rob Fraser on bass, a touring veteran and Jim Oakley on drums a fine studio musician and sideman. They enjoy a strong following in PA,NJ,MD and in Cental Florida. They love to hear from their fans by email and post photos on their website.
