Madonna continued her campaign against Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin at a concert in New York on Saturday night (October 11).
The star was onstage at Madison Square Garden when, after performing her '80s hit "Express Yourself", she proclaimed "I'd like to express myself to Sarah Palin right now".
She then proceeded to throw handfuls of condoms emblazoned with images of John McCain's running mate into the crowd – an apparent reference to Palin's pregnant 17-year-old daughter, Bristol.
The barb came after an incident earlier in the night, where Madonna described the loud screeching of a guitar as "the sound of Sarah Palin thinking".
The pop star also told US fans last week that Palin was banned from her live concerts, while at the start of the tour she placed an image of McCain alongside photographs of Adolf Hitler and Robert Mugabe.

I think she just banned her (ex now) husband "Guy Ritchie" from her shows as well Madonna in onstage swipe at Guy? Madonna set tongues a-wagging in Boston last night when she dedicated a song to the "emotionally retarded" hours after splitting from husband Guy Ritchie. The pop star was appearing at the TD Banknorth Garden yesterday (October 15) when she introduced recent single "Miles Away" as "for the emotionally retarded." "Maybe you know some people who fall into that category," she continued. "I certainly do." Madonna has previously admitted that the lyrics of the song, about dealing with long distance relationships, were inspired by the hardship of being away from her now ex-husband. "It is inspired by Guy but then you take it on," she told MSN earlier this year. "You realise so many people have to deal with long distance relationships. It's not easy. You have to work hard to make it work." Madonna's 'Sticky & Sweet' world tour continues tonight with another show at the TD Banknorth Garden.
